Liber Est A Cul

Once again, Neatorama provides all the content of my blog:

The lovely book Images on the Edge: The Margins of Medieval Art, explores the little doodles monks would add to text that they translated and copied day in and day out:

Depictions of sexual consort are frequent, among men and women, among various species of animals, and enough other combinations to make even contemporary readers blush.

Somebody get me this book!

Kick Off March the Right Way!

In my family, March has always been Colo-rectal Health Month!

At least it should be...

Something Sweet for Valentine's

This was one of my favorite cartoons when I was little:

It's from 1935... so there's always gonna be something off. My favorite is the "Angel's Food Cakes." Then the "Devil's Food Cakes." And "Miss Jello." And when "the donut's ass falls off in the coffee"...  Oh 1930s!

Antique Heroine

Here is a rare funny Married To The Sea cartoon that I saved while ago. Don't get me wrong, they are hilarious sometimes, but not most of the time. Kind of like this blog. Yes.

I Missed Krampus

It was yesterday. Merry Belated Krampus!

Though technically we still have a few more days of Krampus. So watch out!

Highly Patented

Oh, those roaring twenties!

Gin soaked, full of repartee and innuendo... much like grandma's last Sunday brunch.
